The Insert and Delete Buttons, located along the bottom of the Edit Screen, are used to insert and delete survey survey shots, at the current survey shot position.
Pressing the Insert Button inserts 1 or more new (empty) survey shot in front of the current survey shot, moving all following survey shots to make room.
Pressing the Delete Button deletes the current survey shot, moving all following shots to fill the gap. Survey shots coming from a station which was deleted will come from “?”.
Insertion, deletion, or reorganization of numerous survey shots might be best done using a text editor. To use a text editor, Export the data to a CavePlot-Text file, make the needed changes using the text editor, save the file again as "Text Only", and Import the file back into CavePlot. See the File Format section in the appendix for more information.
